Soul Jam - A Brief
I just returned from a great weekend in Santa Cruz and I plan to post a complete review sometime in the next couple days. I’m a bit tired right now though so in the interest of getting something posted while it’s hot - here’s the brief…
Congratulations and thanks to Jeremy Mirken and the SCSJ staff for organizing and running the first Santa Cruz Soul Jam footbag net event! I believe all agree that it was a great success!
Eight players from Chaos represented on 6 teams finishing in 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th places out of 11 teams total. Not too shabby!
Chris Seibert and Steve Dusablon, Team NPR, came down from Portland for the weekend allowing us to add another chapter to the Chaos/NPR rivalry. Sweet! Chris and Steve made an impressive run at the title but fell short by loosing in the final. Alexis Deschenes and Patrick ‘I forgot my uniform’ Schrickel, Chaos #8, won the championship match in straight sets: 15-4, 15-10. Team Deschenes/Schrickel dominated everybody all weekend.
okay, SC rocked! There’s my complete review. Movin on.
